Learning Music Monthly is a subscription based album-a-month series.

This month's album is a collaboration with Alex Silverman (from the band Alex and Sam ... myspace.com/alexsammusic). It's a concept album about the rise and fall of a rock musician in the 60s named Jonny Pride. The single is called "Famous" (track 5). But feel free to post any MP3s that move you. It features a number of special guests, including Barbara Gruska on drums/vocals (Jenny Lewis, Belle Brigade, Benji Hughes).

Focus Tracks: 2, 5, 8, 10
(and track 1 ... after 20 albums, finally a song about California)
